Jackets for This Season | DEPECHE.
The Perfect Jacket Trend
Transitional jackets come in many different versions, but right now it’s especially leather jackets that are dominating the fashion scene.
Maybe you already have one hanging in your wardrobe. After all, the leather jacket is a true classic, and over the years we’ve seen it make a comeback again and again – and in more and more variations.
This season, three types of leather jackets in particular are taking the spotlight: the biker jacket, the trench coat, and the blazer jacket.
Biker Chic
The biker jacket is characterized by its edgy zippers and signature collar. The trend has been spotted on the runways of several well-known fashion houses, but it’s also becoming increasingly popular in everyday street style.
It’s far from the first time the biker jacket has been in vogue. In the 1990s, we saw it on the iconic Kate Moss, in 2010 it was practically unavoidable on the streets, and now it has firmly reestablished itself on the fashion map once again.
The biker jacket has a cool edge and can easily be styled for both everyday wear and nights out. Pair it with baggy trousers and a basic T-shirt for a laid-back, rock-inspired daytime look. For the evening, style it with a mini skirt and high boots to dress it up.

The Trench coat
The trench coat is a timeless classic that, this season, truly makes its mark in new, exclusive materials like soft leather and luxurious suede. Inspired by the iconic trench silhouette, these updated versions bring a modern twist, offering a look that’s both sophisticated and effortlessly stylish.
A leather or suede trench coat is the perfect transitional piece – versatile enough to be worn with both casual outfits and more formal attire. Style it with jeans and sneakers for a laid-back yet chic look, or pair it with a dress and boots for an elegant outfit with an edge.

Leather Blazers
Oversized blazers have dominated the fashion scene for the past few seasons, and this year the leather blazer is the ultimate contender for outerwear of the season. Drawing from classic tailoring, the leather blazer is sleeker and more refined than the biker or the bomber.
It’s a surprisingly chic alternative to a regular blazer or trench coat, yet polished enough to work in more formal or professional settings. All in all, it’s a brilliant piece of transitional outerwear that’s bound to become a street style favorite in the months ahead.
